Existing PMU

Would you like to book a treatment with me but already have permanent makeup on your brows? Please read the information below carefully. With your input, your wishes, and my expertise, we can determine together whether a new treatment is possible — or not.

Before booking an appointment, I ask that you send a clear, well-lit photo of your brows without makeup, taken in natural daylight, to info@radiant-utrecht.nl. Please include a short note about your wishes and what kind of result you have in mind.

Of course, you are also very welcome to book a free consultation so we can assess everything in person and discuss the possibilities.

Because correcting or retouching PMU done at another salon requires more time, I apply a surcharge to the standard rates. Please book under the option “Powderbrow correction/touch-up.”

Correcting or Refreshing Existing PMU

Correcting existing permanent makeup (PMU) not done at my studio is only possible if the old PMU is sufficiently faded and barely visible. I believe it’s essential that clients are well-informed and have realistic expectations. Please read the following information carefully if you’ve had PMU done elsewhere and are considering a treatment with me.

Risks

Old PMU may have changed color over time. The pigment may have turned gray due to sun exposure, or may now show a red, orange, or even purplish hue. The latter often occurs if pigments containing iron oxides were used — these are now banned under current safety regulations.

In some cases, color correction is definitely possible, but there is always a risk that the unwanted hue will reappear over time despite correction.
